$100 Processing Fee is an installation which spreads open a document from the Center for Gender Reassignment in Norfolk, Virginia from the 90’s. This 17 page document asks incredibly invasive, innocuous questions towards its applicants who are hoping for gender reassignment. However, this can all be boiled down into one question that they ask on the second page, “What do YOU think your problems are?”

Within this installation I present the spread open document and a stack of documents for viewers to please take one. This offered document is the manipulated version of the original, asking the one question they intended.
