Slightly Self-Made, is a multi-piece work comprising of two metalwork sculptures, two-channel projection, a handmade book, and sound. This work explores the language of gender through time, language, and physicality.

The projections are of companion video collages which contain layered image and text. The images are of historical trans imagery found in research, contemporary photoshoots with the artist and friends, and images of biomaterial. The text is similarly found from research, the artist, and from interviews with 10 trans peers. The book contains all 36 quotes used within the collage and the sound element was created by CJ Prat.
